Designated Security Duties training equips seafarers assigned specific security responsibilities with the knowledge and skills to contribute to the implementation of the ship’s security plan. The course covers threat recognition, emergency procedures, access control, and communication protocols as required under the ISPS Code. It ensures that crew members can respond effectively to security threats and play an active role in maintaining maritime safety and security.
