The Personal Safety and Social Responsibility (PSSR) course is a foundational training module required for all seafarers before their first sea assignment. This course introduces participants to safe working practices, effective communication, teamwork, pollution prevention, and social responsibility on board ships.

It prepares new entrants to adapt to the onboard environment and understand the importance of safety awareness and personal conduct in compliance with STCW standards.
